Jimmy and Judy

Just watched this movie with my brother on Netflix and all I can say is WOW.          Its about two  young adults that find love in each other when everyone else see's them as outcasts.        Jimmy is in the habit of recording and documenting his life, and Judy falls in love with Jimmy after seeing he is the only one who truly cares and loves her. It is extremely hard to try and describe everything because there is so much that goes on....But it has made it up to one of my top favorites!!! I highly recommend watching it. I added this video Violence in the snowy field because its great and it plays in the very end of the movie... :)

The next three days

Hi, I just watched this movie today on Netflix, I know Its been about two weeks since my last post. I have not been able to sit down and watch a full movie, been pretty busy. But anyways back to the movie. Its about a married couple's life getting flipped upside down when the wife is accused of murder. The wife is innocent but with such little evidence and no witnesses, the law is against her.
Meanwhile as she is sitting in jail accepting the fact that she is going to be there to stay, her husband is trying to hire the best lawyers and doing whatever he can to help her while trying to maintain their household, bills and raise their son. After having a talk with their criminal defense lawyer about her case, the realization sets in that she is not going to ever get out. That is simply not an option for him.
He begins to plan her escape, and is willing to do anything. Now between taking care of his son and working he is thinking of anyways to get money without attracting too much attention towards him so he robs a drug dealer. The robbery didn't go quite as planned because he was not trying to hurt anyone, but in situations like that you really never know whats going to happen...But he does succeed with his original mission by getting enough money to leave the country on.
Next he makes up some false information faking a condition for his wife, to then get her out of the jail and into the hospital so they can make their escape, meanwhile at this time the wife has no idea of his intentions. She then makes it to the hospital and see's her husband in disbelief and tries to tell him that she does not want to go and tries to tell him they will both end up in prison and their son will not have anyone. He does not take no for an answer and is determined to get his family back.
They then make a run for it, after a police chase in the hospital they finally make it out in enough time to follow through with his plan that he precisely planned out. On their way to get their son, the husband starts to rethink the original plan and debates with his wife if they should leave the son and then come back for him. While trying to figure out a way before pictures of them both start to go up in the air lines and police search, he then decides that they are going to have to leave the son. The wife then opens the car door and tries to fling her body out the moving car, the husband grabs her before her head hits the pavement and pulls over. The wife expresses that he did this all to have his family back together and if they leave without their son what are they doing it for? So they take the chance, and pick up their son.
While driving to the airport the fear of losing it all starts taking over as they see police searching for them. Finally making it to the airport they buy the tickets to Canada and head to the security check with the bag of money and their wanted selves. The police then calls airport to do a search for male and female with their description, the airport security over looks the husband and wife and child and continues on boarding the passengers. As they go through the last security check the guard takes a good look at them and the list of the wanted people on his computer screen, and doesn't see them on there so he lets them pass. A few seconds after he does so both of their pictures pop up unnoticed...So they made it with perfect timing :) That's pretty much the end and the detectives that were trying to find them the whole time then discover to themselves that she was really innocent . I recommend watching this movie! All in all it was great extremely romantic I would want my husband to do the same for me!

28 Days

I know this one is old but just watched this last night on netflix. Its a comedy about a woman named Gwen (Sandra Bullock) that is addicted to Alcohol and pills and is court ordered to go to rehab vs. jail. Its a good movie to watch if you haven't experienced an addiction first hand and want to see how people really struggle on a day to day basis and how drugs can effect yourself and everyone around you. Sandra is excellent in this movie and I really recommend it. I've never experienced any addiction but known people who have and it really opened my eyes on seeing things in there perspective.

Boot Camp

Hi, I just watched this movie, It is about troubled teens that get sent to a boot camp that is located on a island in Fiji. With hopes that "ASAP" rehabilitation program will help trouble teens, parents send off their children. The camp is more like a prison without bars, and the methods used to help these teens are all wrong! It is mainly about a young girl Sophie (Mila Kunis) who misses her deceased  father, and starts rebelling against her step father and mother. Sophie's step father and mother agree to have her sent to the boot camp, which in my opinion should have been sent to counseling. Sophie then picked up by ASAP at her boyfriend Ben's (Gregory Smith) house and taken away. Meanwhile Ben tries to find out where she is and finally succeeds, with a plan. He then starts to rebel against his family to get sent to the same boot camp to as Sophie. As he does enough to convince that he needs to be sent away, he makes it to the boot camp to see that its more like a prison torture camp. I do not want to spoil the movie and say everything because I recommend you to watch it. all in all I give it an 8, it made me cry....The love Ben has for Sophie is very moving. This movie is also based on unnamed boot camps in the 70's. Very good movie hope you enjoy!

Straw Dogs

Hi everyone!
I just watched this movie last night. It's about an L.A screenwriter David Sumner and his wife who relocates to her hometown in the deep south. After this move, the locals and husband don't see eye to eye on things. The locals also childhood friends of the wife, start to make it hard for the couple to live and feel safe in their own home. When all that started I really started to dislike this movie! The wife gets raped by two  men in her home while the two men's buddies took the husband out shooting, so it was all planned out and just really disturbing. But she does not say anything to anyone and try's to continue living their life in their new home as if nothing has happened. As they continue to be involved socially with the small town, they go to a football game and realizes she can not take it being surrounded by her attackers and starts having flash backs, meanwhile that's happening the football coaches young daughter takes off with a older man who seems to be mentally challenged. The young girl and the man go to be alone while her dad the coach goes searching the school grounds her. The older mentally challenged guy covers the girls mouth as they hear the dad irate calls for her. Now back to the couple, they leave the game and on their way home the hit the mentally challenged guy who was standing in the street. They then start to panic and take the man with a broken arm to their home and call 911. The locals pick up the 911 call on their radio and then tell the coach. They then decided to take justice into their own hands and go down to the couples house to get the man to ask about the daughter he was last seen with. As they get there they shoot their guns and pound on the door to scare the couple into turning over the man, But they do not...and the locals really start to get mad and try to break in themselves and destroy the home. The husband just snaps at this point and starts wiping these guys out one by one with anything he can think of and succeeds! That was pretty much the end they never said nothing about what happened to the girl or if  the couple moved out of the town or stayed. But all in all it was an OK movie I just liked when those guys got what they deserved. But would not watch it again or recommend  it to anyone.

Hope all is well with everyone, everywhere! :)
